The Art of Kalayaan International is a zine that compiles graphics used in Kalayaan International, a student-run newspaper publication active from 1971-73. Pulled directly from the original articles, these illustrations were used to contextualize prevalent sociopolitical issues, including the impacts of U.S. imperialism in the Philippines, labor movements in the U.S., and solidarity with peoples of the Global South in their fight for liberation.
